OUR DELICIOUS CRAFT BEERS
A craft beer is a beer that is brewed in a traditional way, or that follows traditional recipes.
Unlike industrial beers, there are no chemicals in a craft beer.
So all our beers are colorant and preservative free, they are unfiltered and unpasteurized for maximum taste and authenticity.
They are also refermented in the bottle to strengthen the aromas and develop natural carbonation.
The proof of this traditional production will be found in each bottle in the form of a deposit of yeast.
OUR RANGE OF CRAFT BEERS
All of our beers are brewed and bottled in our microbrewery located in Jumigny in the Aisne, at the foot of Chemin des Dames.
Once bottled, the beers are not pasteurized, and will re-ferment for natural gasification. Each bottle will present a natural deposit of yeast at the bottom.
La Musteline, like any craft beer, should be stored away from light and at a constant temperature.
Place it vertically in the refrigerator (4 to 6 °) and serve it delicately in a glass without pouring the bottom of the bottle with its yeasts to appreciate all the aromas.

NON PASTEURIZED BEERS
In order to follow the principles of craft beer, all La Musteline beers are unpasteurized beers.
Pasteurization is a process that heats beer bottles to 65°C for 20 minutes. This action kills 90% of bacteria and considerably slows down the growth of yeasts still present in beer.
An unpasteurized beer is therefore a beer whose yeasts are still active after bottling. In order to preserve the taste qualities of beer, it is therefore important to keep it cool.
Ideally, the beer should be consumed within 6 months after bottling, which will preserve the balance of aromas decided by the brewer. An unpasteurized beer can be consumed without any problem beyond these 6 months, however the aromas can be less intense once this period has passed.
Finally, in order to improve your tasting, we advise you to gently pour the beer into a glass, to stop about 1 centimeter before the bottom of the bottle, and to taste the beer for the first time. If you like bitterness, continue to gradually pour the bottom of the bottle, obviously avoiding to pour the deposit of dead yeast in your glass.
This tip is also a good way to convert your friends to beer tasting, so that they stop saying « beer is too bitter ».
